Relief!!

So Friday afternoon we went to Brazeau Dam to go camping and dirt biking. Everything went very well. The boys locked the bikes up at the end of the day and we all went to bed. Apparently Craig got up at 2:30 to go pee and all was well. Then all of a sudden we hear " Brian get up the bikes are gone"
"Fuck off" Brian replies.
"I'm not shitting you they are gone!"
Well up we get and Wayne and Gary are both gone in their trucks and Craig is getting in his car (this is 4 am). Brian takes off in our truck and Nancy and I are sitting there. Now Gary and Wayne's bike are insured but we hadn't insured Brian's as of yet. So Nancy and I sit and sit. We had turned a lantern on an hear someone yell to turn the fudgen light off. We were both thinking what the hell?? Why?? Then we hear a bike start so figured they had found one and Wayne(being the better rider of the 3) was taking off after whom ever stole the bikes. Well Gary and Craig came back about 5 mins. later with all 3 bikes! So Nancy and were sooo relieved!! They said that Wayne and Brian were following the guys in the van. So they started walking back to were they had left Wayne's truck and found 2 pedal bikes from the next camp and one of our jerry cans sitting in the bush!! So we bring those back and they bring the truck back and we wait some more. The boys get back and they hadn't managed to catch the other guys so they load the bikes onto the back of the truck again and we all try to go back to sleep!
Fast forward to about 8:30 am. We had finally gotten to bed about 5 so it felt rather early! So the boys wander around the campsite and let everyone else know what happened and turns out that bike we thought we heard stating was in fact a stolen quad being, well, stolen! In total there was 3 quads gone and a bb gun!
So we had a very interesting weekend!! Guess what we are doing on Monday?!?!!? Insuring the bike!!
It ended up that Gary thought he heard someone up and he had to get up to pee anyways so he got up and saw the bikes gone so jumped in his truck and took off. Found the bikes and came back to get someone to help load them. I guess as he peeled out of our campsite he literally peeled and was honking and everything but nobody heard him!! Banged on Wayne's truck to wake up Wayne. When Wayne peeled out Nancy heard that and thought someone was stealing her car so that's how Craig got up!!! Crazy weekend but so glad Gary was on the ball!
For the record we did manage to have fun on Saturday! Went for some rides and then went swimming. Left early this morning cause it was pouring rain but we were all done in anyways!! lol
